FASHION THROUGH TIME

We kindly invite you to the opening of the exhibition FASHION THROUGH TIME, taking place at Ptuj Castle on Tuesday, 15 July 2025 at 5 p.m.

The exhibition of historical costumes will be showcasing the work of Natalia Vasilyeva, a graduate clothing designer and entrepreneur, to visitors of Ptuj Castle over the summer.

She has been sewing historical and theatrical costumes for twenty years, drawing inspiration from garments found in museum collections and historical paintings. Her tailoring is based on examples of old patterns typical of specific fashion periods, and the clothes are made only from natural materials – cotton, silk, wool, and linen.

In the old town centre of Ptuj, she runs the Karrik-Design showroom, where she makes and rents historical costumes for various occasions.
